Paint
This mandala with a white center reminds us that we are, at our core, innocent and a blessing to the world. The yellow reminds us of the sun within, the green of our potential healing, and the blue sky of our unlimited self. Each of us is a precious, holy being. Clear yourself and your space to open to find peace.
On and off while I wrote my books and taught workshops, I painted. I started small with little paintings that grew. I kept running back and forth to the art store from Boulder Creek to Santa Cruz. It felt like a compulsion, but when I painted, I felt so much better!
Many of the paintings were abstract mandalas in bright colors. I felt this wonderful energy when I painted, as if I was connected to spirit and heaven. I was.
I was going through a transition, a nice word for “my life was falling apart.” I had lost my job that paid the mortgage, and I was out of savings.
But repeatedly, the angels told me when I journaled in the morning to paint. I had practice in relying on angels, as I was a single mom raising two teenagers. “Paint,” they would tell me, and then they would harass me! Has anyone ever heard of angels poking and prodding until you do something? My angels did! I noticed if I didn’t follow guidance, my day would not go well.
Serendipitously, the next part of my journey was to find, apply, and move into the Tannery Arts Lofts, where I would have both space to write, paint, and live with affordable rent. A miracle in Santa Cruz, where we have one of the highest rents in the United States.
Now, I have collected these paintings along with intuitive pendulum charts. It’s a book, a deck, it’s The Divine Pendulum Oracle.
