Dark Morning of the Soul
Sometimes, even our mornings can seem dark. Sometimes, the hardest thing is just to get up, as if we have come back from a sad dream. When this happens to me, I ask the angels for help. I might remember to pray, “This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad.” Then my hungry cat, Pangea, will pounce on me until I’m up. Peet’s coffee is also waiting for me…
